Why?
When we adventure together, we not only share in the thrill of the activity, but also support each other in our walk with God. Whether hiking a trail, mountain biking, or skiing down slopes, we are riding side by side. The bond of friendship becomes stronger as we face challenges and moments of awe together. The experiences we share outdoors help us reflect on our personal paths and the ways in which God is shaping our identities. As we grow together, we also grow in our faith, encouraging each other to explore how God is calling each of us individually and as a group.
The outdoors provides a space where distractions fall away, and we can focus on the deeper questions of life—our purpose, our faith, and our place within God's story. Every adventure becomes a journey of self-discovery, an opportunity to see how God is working within us, helping us understand who we are and who we are becoming in Him. Together, we learn to trust in God's plan, embrace His grace, and find joy in the journey, knowing that we are not walking alone. With friends by our side, and with God leading the way, our adventures become more than just trips—they become a shared spiritual pilgrimage, a way of exploring both the Colorado outdoors and our own hearts.
Who?
Hiii!! My name is Ella Kelly.
Welcome to this little group I felt called to start- let’s see what you got stirring God!!
My goal here is to simply blend outdoor adventures with spiritual growth, friendship, and mentorship to glorify God and build meaningful connections. I am still riding my own journey with Him, but one thing I am certain of is that discovering His love is always better with friends and definitely more fun when you are ripping down the Colorado mountains on skis, wheels, or your own two feet.
Growing up, I always felt intrinsic pressure when I joined “youth groups” to have my path and testimony mapped out. I can tell you now that I still do not. The goal of this group is to ride our own journeys TOGETHER, through the simple blessings of friendships, that lead to mentorships, that lead to discipleships.
Matthew 5:13-16 speaks that 13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Together at Ride on Faith, we will spread the SALT of God’s LOVE, creating an everlasting thirst for Him. We will shine his LIGHT to those around us. By embracing the ongoing nature of faith and discovery, I hope to create a space where people can feel supported while exploring their own paths. We will ride this journey together, glorifying our Father in every adventure we embark on.
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge. There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard.
